Phi Theta Kappa (CCsmart)

CCSmart: A smart way to promote the advantages of today’s community colleges.

Situation: Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), a national honor society for community colleges, turned to the Ad5 team to launch their new CCsmart brand. Their goal was to make high school students and parents aware of—and excited about—the many benefits of community college. They wanted the CCsmart brand to stand on its own while still maintaining a connection to PTK.

Action: Our team created the CCsmart brand identity, as well as a tagline, “The Smart Way to Start.” We developed a full-featured website that showcases the advantages of attending community college while providing useful information to help students on their journey. To drive traffic to the website, we rolled out a digital marketing campaign with static and video assets. The campaign was rolled out in multiple states.

Results: The campaign and website were successful in boosting engagement and awareness, resulting in a better understanding of what community colleges are all about.
